Eligibility & Trade-specific Criteria
Eligibility varies by trade. Key highlights:
- Graduate Apprentice: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying Engineering / relevant technician qualification.
- COPA (Computer Operator & Programming Assistant): Matriculation (10th) + 1-year National/State Trade Certificate in COPA.
- Fitter / Electrician / Wireman / Surveyor / Draughtsman / Machinist / Turner: Matriculation (10th) + relevant 1- or 2-year National/State Trade Certificate as specified per trade.
- Welder (Gas & Electric) / Pump Operator cum Mechanic / Mechanic Diesel / Steno (Hindi): Matriculation + specified 1-year trade certificate.
- Security Guard (Optional): Matriculation or equivalent.
Stipend (Monthly)
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300
- Technician Apprentice: ₹10,900
- COPA / Welder / Mechanic Diesel / Pump Operator / Steno: ₹10,560
- Fitter / Electrician / Wireman / Surveyor / Draughtsman / Machinist / Turner: ₹11,040
- Security Guard (Optional Trade): ₹8,200
Age Limit & Important Cut-off
Minimum Age: 18 years • Maximum Age: 26 years (as on 01/08/2025). Candidates should have been born between 02/08/1999 and 02/08/2007. Age relaxation as per rules.
Selection Process & Application Rules
