Criteria for Eligibility
- Graduate Apprentice: Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech/B.Arch) (four-year full-time program) or Non-engineering graduate (BA/BBA/B.Com/B.Sc/BCA) with a three-year degree.
- Diploma Apprentice: Engineering Diploma (three-year full-time program).
- Trade Apprentice (ITI Graduate): ITI Graduate (full-time).

Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be shortlisted according to a merit list established based on the percentage of marks achieved in the requisite qualification pertinent to the specific trade.
- No written examination or interview will be conducted.
- In the event that two applicants possess identical grades, the applicant with the greater age will be prioritized on the merit list.
- The minimum qualifying marks shall be 60% in aggregate for General/EWS candidates and 50% in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates for reserved seats.
- When the essential qualification stipulates marks obtained in the honors subject, those marks will be deemed for eligibility; otherwise, the aggregate marks across all subjects will be taken into account.
- The requisite qualification must be obtained from a recognized university or institute in the relevant discipline, accredited by UGC or AICTE for a degree or diploma, or by NCVT or SCVT for ITI.
Application Procedure
- Candidates with an engineering degree or a graduate qualification (BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, or Diploma) must be registered with a comprehensive profile on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php.
- ITI pass candidates are required to register with a complete profile on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) site at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- Upon registration on the NATS/NAPS apprenticeship portal, candidates must log in to the relevant portal using their User ID or Email ID and apply for the apprenticeship openings using “RITES Limited” as the establishment name.
- Before submitting applications, candidates must verify that all profile elements (caste, educational background, personal credentials, etc.) and aggregate percentage are accurately reflected in their profile.
- Candidates must reach out to the NATS/NAPS office for any necessary corrections.
- Upon applying on the designated NATS/NAPS portal, the candidate must also complete and submit a scanned copy of the required documents/proofs using the RITES Application Form by 05.12.2025, accessible at https://apprentice.rites.com:444/ApprenticeForm.
