- Mining Mate-C: Valid ‘Restricted’/’Unrestricted’ Certificate of Competency for employment in Metalliferous Mines granted by DGMS + minimum of 3 years of experience in metalliferous mines.
- Winding Engine Driver-B: Matriculation with a First Class Winding Engine Driver Certificate of Competency granted by DGMS, together with over 3 years of experience as a Winding Engine Driver in Metal Mines, including a minimum of 1 year operating a 75 HP winder or greater.
