Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Ag.) or B.Sc in Horticulture from a recognized university or institution.
  • No equivalent qualification other than Agriculture or Horticulture degrees will be accepted.

Salary / Pay Scale

Level-10, Cell-1 of the Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness Allowance and other benefits as per Government of Odisha norms.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 42 years
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SEBC/SC/ST/Women/Ex-Servicemen, 10 years for PwD (40% or more disability), 15 years cumulative for PwD belonging to SEBC/SC/ST.

Application Fee

  • ₹700/- for candidates other than SC/ST/PwD (payable online)
  • No fee for SC/ST/PwD candidates
  • Fee refunded to candidates appearing in both papers of the written exam

Selection Process

  • Written Examination (MCQ Type): 200 Marks (Two Papers of 100 Marks each, 100 Questions, Duration: 2 Hours per Paper, 25% negative marking)

General Instructions

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India and proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Odia.
  • Candidates must be in good mental and physical health.
  • Candidates with more than one living spouse are not eligible.
  • Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate during verification.
  • Candidates debarred by OPSC or other commissions are ineligible during the debarment period.
