Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.
- Age: 21–42 years as on 01/01/2025. Relaxation applicable as per rules.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Odia Language: Must read, write, and speak Odia; pass required examinations or tests.
- Marital Status: Candidates with more than one living spouse not eligible unless exempted.
- Government Servants: Eligible with NOC and qualifications.
- Character & Health: Must have good moral character and sound health.

- Group-A Service (Odisha Police Service): Rs. 56,100/- (Level-12, Cell-1)
- Group-B Services: Rs. 44,900/- (Level-10, Cell-1)

Selection Process
- Preliminary Exam: 2 papers (General Studies I & II), objective type, 200 marks each, 2 hours per paper. Paper-II qualifying only.
- Main Exam: 9 papers – 2 language (Odia & English, qualifying) + 7 papers including Essay, General Studies I–IV, Optional subjects.
- Interview/Personality Test: 250 marks. Final ranking based on Main Exam + Interview.
- Allocation of services based on rank and preference.
