Eligibility Criteria
- Senior Scientific Officer: Max 40 yrs, Ph.D. or Master’s in forensic/psychology/related field, with experience.
- Junior Scientific Officer (Happiness & Wellbeing): Max 35 yrs, Master’s or Ph.D., 3 years relevant experience.
- Junior Scientific Officer (Multimedia Forensics): Max 35 yrs, BE/B.Tech or relevant Master’s, 3 years experience preferred.
- Junior Scientific Officer (DNA Forensics): Max 35 yrs, Master’s/BE in life sciences, 3 years experience preferred.
- Senior Scientific Assistant: Max 30 yrs, BE/B.Tech or relevant Master’s, experience preferred.
- Laboratory Assistant: Age 18–27 yrs, Bachelor’s in science/forensic fields.
Application Fee
- Gen/EWS/OBC: ₹500 + GST (non-refundable)
- SC/ST/PwBD/Female: Exempted
- Separate applications needed for multiple posts.
Selection Process
- Senior Scientific Officer: Based on overall record and interview; possible screening exam.
- Junior Scientific Officer, Senior Scientific Assistant, Laboratory Assistant: Written test merit; possible screening and shortlisting.
- Call letters sent via email or Samarth portal; interviews in person only.
- Reservations per GoI rules (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD).
