Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have qualified in GATE 2023, 2024, or 2025 in either:

• Electronics & Communication (GATE code: EC), or
• Computer Science & Information Technology (GATE code: CS)

Additionally, applicants should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication
• Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science & Engineering

Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s degree in Science (specialisation in Electronics, Computer Science, Physics with Electronics, or Electronics & Communication) or a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognised university are also eligible.

Age Limit (as of 16-11-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years
• Age relaxation applicable as per government norms.

Salary Structure

• Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400) in Pay Matrix + Central Government allowances
• Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay
• Additional monetary benefits for duties performed on holidays (up to 30 days)

• Male candidates (UR, EWS, OBC): Rs. 200/- (Rs. 100 processing + Rs. 100 exam fee)

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE score (2023, 2024, or 2025). Ten times the number of vacancies will be invited for the Skill Test and Interview.

The selection stages include:

• GATE Score Evaluation
• Skill Test (practical & technical)
• Interview (subject knowledge & communication skills)

Total Marks: 1175 (GATE: 750 | Skill Test: 250 | Interview: 175)

The final merit list will be based on the aggregate marks in all stages. A waiting list will also be maintained as per DoPT guidelines.
